Frequently Asked Questions

Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked the most.

We can provide vessel performance analytics solutions and insights with either Noon data, High-frequency data, or both.

The required data can be sent either as a file in CSV format, or it can be transferred directly to our database through API calls.

Depending on the module opted for, the required data need only be sent once (mainly structural drawings), daily, weekly, or monthly.

Not mandatory, as most of our modules mainly require Noon data and structural drawings.

We follow ISO 19030 for computations, providing insights and for optimizing vessel performance. Sea trial conditions are used for benchmarking hull performance, while shop trial conditions are used for benchmarking main engine performance.

Oceanix guarantees reductions in fuel consumption, increased savings, and a streamlined pathway and support for decarbonization.

Data from ships is used to compare with global fleets based on environmental indicators like CII, EEOI, etc., speed loss, and cargo utilization to determine where your fleet ranks globally and where your vessels rank within your fleet.

Global vessel ranking and relative vessel ranking can both be completed and delivered in a day.

Xtrim offers trim optimization solutions that provide ideal trim conditions for given speed and draught conditions. This is the simplest method for optimizing vessel performance and reducing fuel consumption.

You can avail yourself of design services, retrofitting services, solar and battery solutions, ROI computations, and optimization of packing efficiency for containers.
